TRIOS 3Shape Scanner
The TRIOS 3Shape Scanner is the most advanced intraoral scanner on the market. The most beneficial aspect of the TRIOS 3Shape Scanner allows our team to take impressions of your teeth without using uncomfortable impression material. In a dental office that is not as advanced as ours, we would have to take moldings of your teeth with traditional impression material. These outdated methods are usually uncomfortable and not as accurate. Then, we would have to mail the impression off to a lab where we would hope the impression was accurate. Here, we can take a “3D” digital impression and email it to the lab. Our use of advanced technology allows for a quicker turnaround as well as an increase in accuracy of taking impressions.
Planmeca ProMax 3D
Buford Family Dental uses the Planmeca ProMax 3D to make sure we capture a complete digital, panoramic of your mouth with the most accurate details and lowest radiation possible. The Planmeca ProMax 3D combines rotating x-ray equipment with a digital computer. It allows our team to receive complete and comprehensive imaging of your mouth while being minimally invasive.
